How do I Dispose of Waste Batteries?

Did you know that the disposal of industrial and automotive batteries by way of landfill and incineration is banned?
To replace of dispose of used batteries you will need to contact your supplier who will operate a take back scheme. In the event that you cannot contact your origional supplier, any producer of batteries that use the same chemicals will collect them.
As with all waste collections, ensure that the individuals or businesses disposing of your waste are suitably licensed to do so, as well a good practice these areas are addressed in ISO 14001:2004.
